In OMUSUBI’s brand new western soup creation, we start with a base of Japanese soup stock, before adding western ingredients for a new, delicious flavor combining washoku and yoshoku characteristics. The soup is made with premium seafood, including sweet and firm to-the-bite shrimps and squids, and plump clams. The soup is also free of excessive seasoning, and no extra sugar is added at all. The natural sweetness comes from onions that are sautéed to caramelization, bringing out the allure of the fresh ingredients. The thick and creamy texture of the soup is created by the specially selected 3.6 milk and cream, which have a rich taste that subtly neutralizes the tartness of the tomatoes, adding a well-textured and refreshing layer of flavors to the smooth soup.
